چکیده

We present the results on interaction of an all-fiber Holmium-doped laser CW radiation at a wavelength 2100 nm with soft tissues and compare it other obtained by most used solid-state systems. Ex-vivo single spot experiments were carried out porcine longissimus muscles varying impact parameters in wide range (average output power 0.3, 0.5 1.1 W; exposure time 5, 30 60 s). Evaluation was size coagulation ablation zones morphological study. Exposure to 0.3 W (1.5–18 J applied energy) caused only reversible changes tissues. The highest energy 66 for 60-s resulted maximum depth approximately 1.2 mm, efficiency 35%. have shown that is not necessary use high powers radiation, such as 5–10 systems provide destructive effects. Similar can be achieved lower using simple Holmium based standard single-mode fiber, which could higher densities more convenient manufacture use. may valuable additional experimental point field existing results, future will allow one create optimal system medical purposes.

All-fiber wavelength-swept laser near 2 μm.

We report, for the first time to our knowledge, an all-fiber wavelength-swept Tm-doped laser based on a fiber Fabry-Perot tunable filter in the 2 μm spectral region. The laser wavelength can be continuously tuned over 200 nm from 1840 to 2040 nm in a short period of time. The demonstrated tuning speed was 12.5 μm/s with a tuning efficiency of 17.5 nm/V. The spectral linewidth of the laser was m...

Efficient continuous-wave and short-pulse Ho3+-doped fluorozirconate glass all-fiber lasers operating in the visible spectral range.

In this work, efficient visible Ho3+-doped fluorozirconate glass (Ho:ZBLAN) all-fiber lasers operating in continuous-wave (CW) and Q-switching regimes are experimentally demonstrated. The combination of a direct blue pump, a highly-doped Ho:ZBLAN fiber and the fiber end-facet mirrors contributes to a simple all-fiber configuration. A tunable laser emission in the green spectral range of 543-550...
